The ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2019. The three players from the team that will be in attendance were all teammates of Champ in the twilight of his career and were part of that 2013 Super Bowl team in Champ’s final season. Miller took plenty away from Champ’s mentality towards the game and has had a similar approach in his own career. “Champ was always Champ,” Miller said of Champ. “I guess I kind of do the same. I don’t really let anyone change me. He had the same routine for as long as I saw him. D.J. Williams used to tell me about Champ all of the time before I even got here. He told me that was the same routine that Champ had. That it went from when he first got in the league. He just goes out there and he plays. He never lets the situation get too big. It’s never too small for him. He goes out there and he’s Champ Bailey every single day. It was dope to play with him.”Given both Champ and Bowlen are going in this year, we should expect a very large contingent of Broncos Country in the stands at this event. It should be a must see kind of deal on television for the rest of us. With a new defense led by head coach Vic Fangio, and defensive coordinator Ed Donatell, Will Parks has the potential to have a career year." />Skip to main contentclockmenumore-arrownoyesMile High Report homepageHorizontal - WhiteMile High Reporta Denver Broncos communityFollow Mile High Report online:Follow Mile High Report on TwitterFollow Mile High Report on FacebookLog in or sign upLog InSign UpSite searchSearchSearchMile High Report main menuFanpostsFanshotsSectionsBroncosOddsShopAboutMastheadCommunity GuidelinesStubHubMoreAll 321 blogs on Horizontal - WhiteFanposts Fanshots Sections Broncos NewsBroncos ScheduleBroncos PodcastsBroncos Film RoomBroncos RosterBroncos Injury UpdatesFull ArchiveBroncos StoriesScheduleRosterStatsOdds Shop About Masthead Community Guidelines StubHub ✕Under the Radar: Broncos Safety Will Parks to have break out season in 2019New,24commentsWith a new defense led by head coach Vic Fangio Courtland Sutton Jersey , and defensive coordinator Ed Donatell, Will Parks has the potential to have a career year. The Broncos secondary unit also recognizes the “elephant not in the room,” as the contract dispute between All-Pro cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and the Broncos front office continues. But for Broncos safety Will Parks, he’s seen similar changes before. He’s witnessed the departure of former teammates and Super Bowl 50 Champions Aqib Talib (cornerback) and T.J. Ward (safety). He’s played with former Bronco Adam “Pacman,” Jones (cornerback), and 2018 third round draft pick Issac Yiadom (cornerback). Parks is heading into his 4th season, and has yet to miss a game. In his short career, he has started 8 games, forced 3 interceptions Royce Freeman Jersey White , 1 forced fumble, and has amassed a total of 105 tackles. him valuable in Defensive Coordinator Ed Donatell’s weekly game plan. Local radio host, Cecil Lammey, believes Parks could have a much larger role in 2019.With today’s passing offenses in the NFL, the traditional nickel and dime defensive fronts seen on third down are now consistently utilized on all downs. Fangio’s defensive scheme (3-4) focuses on the strength of defensive lineman to occupy the trenches allowing for linebackers to rush from the outside and misdirect interior plays. For defensive backs, this means there will be a combination of man and zone concepts sometimes called on the same play. This defensive philosophy should distort a quarterback’s pre-snap read, and give the defensive secondary time to react. But outside of scheme or fit, Head Coach Vic Fangio has made it clear to players that work ethic and commitment are nonnegotiable. So for Will Parks to shine in 2019, it is critical that he have a productive, and hard working preseason.
